We came across a set of regulations describing the duties of a bedside nurse in an American hospital in 1887. Taken from “Bright Corridors,” a publication of Lutheran Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, the list sets us to wondering how many students would enter schools of nursing today if these rules applied. This is a picture of the class of 1973 credentials committee. A couple of the people in the picture have passed on but the others might like to see it. The picture was sent to me by Bob Cyr's wife Maryellen. Bob is the guy without the beard. He passed on about ten years ago. I am the other guy.
